October was one of those months that reminded me why I love working in college athletics. Four football games, two road trips, Homecoming, Halloween at Nippert, and our biggest home win since 2006. There were so many memorable moments, but what stood out most was the creativity of our team and the different ways we were able to tell stories. From emotional videos and unique camera angles to student-athlete personalities and unforgettable gameday moments, here are some of my favorite pieces of content we created and experiences we captured throughout October.

We put a microphone in the middle of the Grid and asked fans what makes Cincinnati feel like home to them. Loved hearing the different perspectives and seeing how much this place means to people.

Put a pair of Meta glasses on our punter, Max Fletcher, during pregame warmups to give fans a first-person look at what it’s like to prepare for kickoff.

Homecoming was the perfect opportunity to spotlight our NIL Student-Athletes of the Game and give them some recognition on one of the biggest stages of the season.

After MJ Cannon made an unbelievable interception against Texas Tech, we caught up with him for an instant reaction. One of those moments where the excitement speaks for itself.

Mason Foley cut together an incredible perspective of fans storming the field following our biggest home win since 2006. One of those videos that perfectly captures the emotion of college football.

Always great having Desmond Ridder back on campus. Even better getting to catch up with a fellow St. X Tiger!

One of my favorite perspectives from the Texas Tech win came from the radio booth. Hearing Dan Hoard and Tony Pike call Cole Tabb’s game-sealing touchdown made an already incredible moment even better.

Freshman Jeremia Bambu put together a really cool static-shot video from Homecoming. A simple creative approach that captured the atmosphere of a special Saturday at Nippert.

Sean Keenan delivered a generational edition of Clifton Cut following the Texas Tech win. The storytelling, emotion, and energy throughout this one were incredible.

Really cool seeing our quarterback JC French connect with one of my longtime friends, Alyssa Lang. Always fun when people you’ve known throughout your career cross paths.

Brayden Spencer put together an awesome hype video leading into our matchup with Utah, centered around the idea of fearing Nippert Stadium. Loved the intensity and creative direction of this one.

Sean Keenan might have actually made me tear up with this Homecoming video. Such a powerful piece that captured the tradition, memories, and emotion that make Cincinnati special.

Chase Younts has been having conversations with our players throughout the season, and his sit-down with Jacob Finley was one of my favorites. Really enjoy content that gives fans an opportunity to get to know the people behind the helmets.

Our specialists took over an episode of 4 Claps, and it was a fun opportunity to showcase their personalities and the chemistry within that group.

Having Marquaze model our uniforms was absolutely iconic. Sometimes the person you put in front of the camera makes the entire piece.

We put a mic on Jonathan Thompson at practice and let his personality do the work. Always enjoy giving fans a look at the conversations and energy that happen behind the scenes.

Isaac Gesler came up with a really creative approach to our uniform reveal for the West Virginia road trip. Loved seeing a fresh concept brought to life.

We debuted a new approach to road game coverage by mounting phones to our cameras and keeping them rolling throughout the day. Really proud of everyone for embracing the idea and finding new ways to capture content.

Got to attend two FC Cincinnati matches with our Student-Athletes of the Match through Cincy Connect NIL, featuring baseball’s Quinton Coats and football’s Juce Rulo and Geo Kontosis. Such a great initiative connecting our student-athletes with the Cincinnati sports community.

Brayden Spencer put together an awesome Homecoming uniform reveal in collaboration with our dance and spirit teams and the Bearcat. Loved bringing different groups together to create something special.

Zach Wooldridge created a really strong set of all-red graphics leading into Homecoming. A great example of how clean, intentional design can make a uniform combination stand out.

Chase Younts getting some time on the red carpet with Jason Kelce was an awesome moment. Pretty cool opportunity to capture some content with one of the biggest personalities in sports.

Our NIL Student-Athletes of the Game for Utah featured our freshman tennis dynamic duo. Two impressive young student-athletes with incredibly bright futures, and it was great getting to spotlight them.
