Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff is headed to Cincinnati this weekend, creating another high-value opportunity to expand our gameday content plan and elevate the Bearcats brand on a national stage. Two national shows in three weeks is an awesome opportunity to showcase all the great things happening here.
We’re also looking forward to welcoming our friends from BYU to Cincy. I’ve been a longtime admirer of their operation. Tyson Hutchins and his team consistently execute at a high level and understand what it means to deliver when the spotlight is brightest. Tyson and I learned long ago in our Clemson days that the goal is simple: Win When The World Is Watching!
Saturday will bring two programs, two creative teams, and one national window. May the best content win 😉
WATCH: From Social Coordinator to VP – Career Growth in Social
Tuned in to the latest Social Social Club chat yesterday and thought it was an awesome conversation. If you’re interested in the social media space and how to grow within the industry give this a watch!
Yesterday’s panel talked a lot about “taste” which I thought was a fun new way to say you know what good looks like. Create content and ideas that are worth making and provide value. It’s as simple as that sometimes. Do that consistently over a long period of time and the standard of your content will rise, as well as your analytics.
Top 10 TikTok Honor
Proud of our team for being named the #9 account in all of sports from the TikTok sports team!
Being named a Top 10 account across all sports by an all-star content panel is AMAZING and a product of some fun, hard work from so many on our team, especially our creative students and the players themselves.
The GoBearcatsFB TikTok account is our most followed across any platform and we’ve prioritized growing our audience there this year!
Building a Smarter Cincinnati Creative Machine
“Squeeze the most juice out of the orange.” Every program in college athletics has the same hours in a day, but the ones that gain ground are the ones that make the most of what they already have.
For us, that means focusing on how every piece of content, every campaign, and every creative effort can carry a little more weight: for our athletes, for our fans, and for the Bearcats brand we’re continuing to build.
Wins and attendance will always be the foundation, but the scoreboard has expanded. Creative ROI, content velocity, and athlete-driven storytelling are now part of how we measure progress. We’re working to build systems that move faster, tell stories with purpose, and strengthen the Cincinnati identity in every space we show up.
Growth takes consistency, alignment, and patience. Each week, our goal is to get a little sharper, a little more intentional, and a little closer to being the standard we’re chasing.
Top of the Feed Is Back!
Bringing back each of my series from last year and sharing insights from a different POV now being back on the inside.
What’s at the Top of the Feed?
For me, it’s the Chiefs new series Secret Chiefs! Engaging content… and loved the appearance from Summer House’s West Wilson!
When On-Field Momentum Meets Digital Growth
Cincinnati Football is tied as the 4th fastest-growing college football account in follower growth this season.
Thank you to our players who give us something worth sharing, our staff who believes in the plan and the fans who keep showing up online like they do every Saturday in the stands.
Truly trying to capitalize on the on-field momentum by bringing every Bearcat closer to the team they love.
The Moment Gets Bigger, The Process Stays the Same
Three games left for the Cincinnati Bearcats. Same plan as Week One.
That’s been our approach all year. No matter if it’s Northwestern State or chasing down an appearance in the Big 12 Championship Game. The systems don’t change when the stakes rise. The moment just gets a little bigger. That’s the whole point of process: when it’s built right, you don’t have to reinvent it every Saturday.
Every person on our creative and external teams knows their role on game week — what to capture, what to build, what story we’re telling. That structure gives us the freedom to create, adapt, and deliver under pressure. The noise gets louder this time of year, but that’s when good process turns into great performance.
The closer you get to the finish line, the easier it is to overthink. But staying locked in on our plan is what keeps the quality high and the energy consistent. We’re not reacting to the moment; we’re ready for it. That’s the edge you earn through repetition, trust, and discipline.
